Can't wait for the swap....

how bout ya'll? I'm getting really excited about this swap. I've got a new area to plant. I had my son dig up a lot of big old overgrown, ratty things from the area, and I'm replanting it. It's in full sun, so I'm trying to put butterfly plants, nectar and host, there. I planted lots of seed, but we had torrential rains and that cold snap and I'm afraid I'm not going to get much germination from them. I've arranged some trades for more seed and some other sun loving plants too. If anyone has any coneflowers, rubeckia, or other plants butterflies like please go check my trade list and see if I have anything you'd like to trade for them. :)

Hi Jan, I do have some Asclepias tuberose (Butterfly Weed) seed that I could mail to you or bring to the swap @ Jemison on the 2nd. I put a lot of the seed out across the road from my house, when the cable company buried the cable, maybe some will flower this year. Let me know if you want some.

I have both rudbeckia and cone flowers I can spare a few of. They are just plain purple coneflowers and rudbeckia from seed, if you want them I will bring them, just let me know. You are already bring me a ton of things.

idig: I would love the rudbeckia and cone flowers, but I think you have me mixed up with the other Jan (birdlady), I don't think you and I have arranged any trades. Take a look at my trade list and see what I have that you want. :)

tweetypie: If you want hummers, I'll bring you some blue anise sage (Salvia guaranitica) 3+', light blue flowers, full/part sun, hummingbirds love it! I was surprised that the blue color attracted them so much, but there's always a hummer(s) feeding on them when they're blooming. Email me if you want some.
