| I purchased a shrub today from a small mom & pop type garden center in Wetumpka. He called it a "button bush". When I tried to identify it on the internet, the "button bush" that comes up is not what I purchased. The leaves of my plant are smaller and more rounded, and the "flower" is more elongated than the rounded white flower of "Cephalanthus occidentalis" which is what is commonly called the Buttonbush on the net. Does anyone have any idea what other shrub might be called button bush? I sure would like to know what I have before I plant it. Thanks. MMoore |
