Watermelon Plant Dying???

Hello all,

I am fairly horrible at gardening, but decided to grow some tomatoes, and a watermelon plant this year. I bought them as plants about 2" tall, about two weeks ago.

They all grew pretty rapidly, and I was looking forward to the watermelon plant "vining out" a bit, but this morning when I looked at it, it was completely shriveled, and now looks as though it's knocking on death's door. I followed the instructions, gave it nitrogen rich fertalizer, planted it in "jungle dirt", and I watered it regualary, keeping the soil moist; as I did for the tomatoes, and they are flourishing. I just don't understand. It was completely healthy yesterday! Any ideas what could be the problem, and if I can save it? I really don't want any more deaths due to my "brown thumb"....
