How are your Purple Pixie Loropetulams?

I have several that I thought were dead and they seem to slowly be coming back (which is good, because at $30 a piece that would've busted my gardening/landscaping budget for the year).

I talked to a guy at my local nursery back in March and he said not to give up on them. He showed me a few that he thought were dead but started to come back after a few days in the greenhouse. He said it was a tough winter for them. I will definitely take better care of mine this winter.

I've tried growing them twice. I just pulled the last one up and will not try growing them again. For me, they don't seem to handle even the mildest Winters.

I'm glad you're seeing signs of life, though!

Ones in front (south facing) -- dead in last years heat and sun. The ones in back (north side) in mostly shade are doing great although they haven't grown much.
