June Plantings (What to Plant)

I am looking to extend my season and even through the winter (Central AL) but I have always planted once around the end of April and then just tended. I have some squash started from seed I am going to place out when some others are spent but that's as far as I have gotten. What can I plant in June? I don't have tons of space but I could plant several things and I have some full sun spots and some part sun spots left.

There's plenty of time for summer squash. Plant 'em.

There's lots of time left in the growing season except for some things that like to get established while it's still cool.

Pumpkins help carry the garden into fall. I like to plant several different sizes. The sugar pie pumpkins are good for cooking and larger ones are good for jack-o-lanterns. Jack B. Little pumpkins are good for fall decorating. You would have to consider how much garden space you have because they can sprawl.
