Those who got my tomatoes and eggplants...

at the spring swap, I'd really like to hear how they come out. At present all my tomato plants are doing very well, most are in bloom and several varieties are in fruit already. I am less impressed with the eggplants, no fruit has set and in fact growth seems very slow.

I've never grown eggplanst before but I just planted sunflower seeds a few weeks ago. Excited! :D

Same here-the tomatoes you gave me are taller and flowering but the eggplants haven't grown much.
Thanks again for the plants,

Starting to come in

Most of my tomatoes are starting to bear ripe fruit now. I picked my first "Coyote" tomato this morning and it was very good indeed, a definite repeat for next year - lots of them on the plant, too! The Fox Cherry is to me not really a cherry tomato, it's about the size of a Ping-Pong ball and still not red.

None of my tomatoes are ripe yet and the eggplants have not bloomed. IT may be due the unusually cool weather we had in May.
