On Saturday June 3rd the Alabama Hosta Society will host a cut leaf hosta show from 1230pm till 430 pm at the Birmingham Botanical Garden. This show is free and open to the public. You can enter a hosta leaf or 2 if you like also. Entries must be received between 7 and 10am.

There will also be a hosta plant sale starting at 830am. Bud Martin (from GA) brings in lots of hostas that you cant get at any of the local nurseries. Proceeds benefit the Alabama Hosta Society which helps maintain the hosta display bed at the BBG.

Come on out and see some beautiful hostas grown by our members and friends. And bring your checkbook so you can bring home a "friendship plant" (or 2) home to your garden
