weeping willows looking bad

tufaleaf

I have 4 weeping willows that we planted about 5 years ago. They have done well but this year look sickly - all 4 - and they are planted at varying places in the yard. However, all four do get plenty of water.

The leaves don't look very green and there are leaves that look brown and curled from the end of the leaf.

No Japanese Beetle infestation although I'm sure there are a few bites taken out of some of the leaves. It's the color and browning that bothers me.

Any suggestions? Any solutions (smile)?

Thanks!

Carol

PS - we are in Oneonta.
