| I can use some. I enlarged my pond to 6000 gallons last month and it looks barren. I am in Saks. Let's get together. |

| What kind do you have? Maybe we could trade? I'm in Talladega.I have miniature water hyacinths, taro, cattails,Chromatella water lily, water celery.Email me if you have different Jan |
|
| I have lots of pickerel, urmbrella plant, large water hyacinths, some grasses that I don't know the names of, and a pretty small-leafed blue flowering shallow water plant that spreads vociferously! |
|
| Perhaps you could attach a picture of the one that spreads prolifically so that we could ID it. Sounds like it might be a troublemaker. Some of the invasive aquatics are illegal (Alabama law and/or Federal law) if your pond opens up to a public water source or can over flow to a public water source. Especially one that is vociferous! (smile) |
Here is a link that might be useful: This is kinda interesting....

| This is a passalong plant from jpwill a couple of years ago. It's prolific but not a trouble maker ;-) Leaves are opposite, about 1" in length. The flowers are about 1/2" in diameter.

| Thanks, Terramadre, that's the one! It is very pretty! I bought it at Smith and Hawkins in Birmingham several years ago, a tiny plant at the time. I asked "Will one of these be enough?" and the lady smiled and said "Believe me, it will be enough." I wish I knew the name of it. |

| Not beeing sure that this plant is Bacopa caroliniana, I posted a pic on the Name That Plant Forum. It does seem to be Bacopa caroliniana. Info on the web is conflicting. |
|
| Just realized I used the wrong word--vociferous--when I meant prolific. And I'm an English teacher!!! I haven't heard any "noise" from the plant, although it might be considered "boisterous" (one of the meanings of vociferous.) |
|
| I've given away all the pond plants. I'm sure I'll have more next year. |
