Green blooming hydrangeas

I was driving through the historic district of Huntsville and noticed a lot of hydrangeas with light lime green blooms. Does anyone know if this is their final color or will they keep going to white? I live 2 hours south of H'ville and won't get up tbere until fall.

Just have to say the yards up there were absolutely glorious, very Southern.

Most likely Limelight hydrangeas. A Google image search will show you the color changes better than I could describe them.

You named it yourself, "Limelight". Also Annabelle is lime green at first then turns white. Lots of Oak Leaf types here too. Earth Touch Garden Center on Whitesburg in Hsv. has all sorts.
