Planting crinums

Kabby or anyone who can help me. How deep do you plant crinums? Does anyone have a picture showing how deep to plant them? I am one of those people that has to have a pic. to understand how deep to plant it. Thanks in advance for the help. Oh one more ? how much sun do they like he in zone 7?

Also, how well do these go in pots? I am still working on making a new bed, and it will probably be spring before I am ready to put them in the ground.

Plant the bulb in a hole deep enough so that the bulb's neck is about 2" below soil level. Take a ruler along ;-)

Potted bulbs will probably need to be heavily mulched.
