plant swap - we have a place

I have been in contact with the Aldridge Botanical Gardens in Hoover, AL. They have granted us permission to have our Fall Swap in the parking lot there and we can use the picnic grounds just inside the gardens gate for lunch. The pavilion is being used that day ($900 charge for using it for 3 hours)but the picnic grounds are free. Be sure to use MapQuest for directions to Aldridge Gardens. The address is Aldridge Botanical Gardesn, 3530 Lorna Rd, Hoover, AL 35216. It is a very few miles north of the Oak Mountain State Park exit so it is still convenient and easy to get to. Let's plan on driving into the gardens driveway and parking lot, up to the gate entrance, turn left and head back out toward Lorna Road and we will park in the parking lot section nearest Lorna Road. Yes, Thanks Terry! This is a great place for us to have it, and we may get some more plant nuts to notice us there as well. Its also less than a half a mile from my house, so I I lucked up there. Anybody want to see my garden is welcome,but some of y'all have a much bigger jungle than I do, I think! Its always fun to see how others grow stuff, and see their pretty yards like at Lynn's last time.

Wow, its clear that these gardens make the $ with renting space for all those weddings and stuff. I'd have to have one heck of a party for $300/hr.

someone take some pics and email them or post them! Ya'll have fun and I'll see ya'll in the spring - hopefully by then i'll have everything planted.
