 o
POPPY Shirley plant now??

I have a few packages of poppy seed, and I see on the back that it says to plant Sept thru Jan for my area of Alabama. Does anyone know if this is indeed the time to plant them? Seems like it is still pretty warm, and would like to know what you all have to say about planting them. We are in Lillian, near Pensacola.
Thank you.

I think it is too warm. I get poppy seeds from Wildseed Farms and I think their recommendation is October/November for my area and I am just south of B'ham.

Good luck to you!
