| Hi guys! I need some advice. The roses I got at the swap (they had some roots ) are turning brown and losing all their leaves. I put them in the ground immediately where they get morning sun; I water them well once a day. Am I watering too much? Too little? Should I feed them?
Also, I planted the daylilies and they were doing great-then my dh ran over them with a lawnmower (my fault-I didn't label them well enough). There is about 2 inches still sticking up above ground. Do you think they will survive? I have never done daylilies before. Thanks, Michelle |

| Michelle, Your dl's will probably survive. Just don't overwater in this humidity, or you could cause them to get crown rot. Especially if they are not planted in well draining soil. Also, make sure you did not plant them too deeply. You should not plant deeper than an inch to inch and a half above the crown. Can't help you with the roses, sorry, I don't do roses. :) Hope the dl info helps. Jan |
