?? - transplanting...butterfly bush, oleanders, native azaleas

I have dug up a butterly bush and an oleander to move. Cut the butterfly bush back about 1/2way, it is in a pot til i decide where to plant it. the oleander actually turned into two when i dug it up - the root split nicely :) they too are in pts til i plant them. should i cut them back futhre - say 3/4 of the way, to dedicate more nutrients to the root system? I don't want to cut back too late in the year and have it hurt htem. same goes for a native azalea.

still trying to decide WHERE to plant the oleanders. Where i had it, it suffered too much frost damage - northern side of house.

suggestions appreciated. sorry i haven't been on much. i stay swamped between work and yardwork. hope everyone is doing well, I WILL see ya'll at spring swap!
