Peach tree pruneing

Well, here I go again. I usually do what ever when it comes to trees and my plants but this one lonely pech tree that has been in the side yard forever, this year produced fruit. Not a whole lot, but decent. If peach trees are beautiful, this one is not. In fact it borders on being cut down, but I just can't. The answer, trim or prune it and spray of course, but how and when. Please someone tell me when is the best time to prune peach trees and how much. A sugestion on spraying would be nice also.

Thanks,

Don T.
