 o
wild cherry tree problem

I have a wild cherry tree in my backyard. All of the leaves fell off about a month ago--way too early. It made no flowers or cherries this year either. What can cause this? We're considering cutting it down, but... thanks for any info!

Scrape the bark. Is it still green under the bark? If it isn't green is is dying.

I had the exact same thing happen this year. First I noticed all the leaves were off one tree. Then a few weeks later they were off the other.
I haven't scraped the bark. Perhaps if I get bored.
