Shasta Crazy Daisy

I was late getting the Shasta Crazy Daisies in the ground that I grew from seed. They are well rooted and about 6" tall. Since they have not flowered and gone to seed, do I need to dig them up so they will survive the winter or can I mulch them heavily for them to survive

I would probably dig up a couple and pot up, keep inside, just to be on the safe side.

Just an update on my crazy daisies...They are alive and well and have even grown some this Fall and Winter. I potted some up so I wouldn't lose my start. The ones in the ground look great and we had a couple of nights that got down to 19 degrees. They are heartier than I thought.
