Loss of a Birmingham Gardener

I don't know if any of you Birmingham gardeners knew her, but my cousin, Dee Smith, passed away Monday evening at home. She was a Master Gardener since '92, still actively gardening, and loved sharing her plants. I'm not from Birmingham but I do know she was active in a lot of charities in Birmingham as well and will be greatly missed. Just thought I'd let you folks know in case she had some acquaintances around the forum here.

I believe I met her a time or two when she used to help at the Spring Fiesta at the Bham Botanical Gardens. My sympathies to the family. It has been my experience that gardeners are good people.

Thanks so much. I thought you might be one of those who had met her at one time or another. She was definitely 'good people'.
