Rose slugs

| Has anyone else been having a bad problem with rose slugs recently? They completely stripped several shrub roses of ine, including "The Fair" and "Scentimental". My Knockouts got some damage but not as bad. A number of medians here in Gadsden have "Carefree Beauty" shrub roses planted along the way, and to me they look like they have been hard hit also. |

| Ken, have you tried a systemic insecticide? Bayer makes a good systemic that you can get at Lowe's. |
