I would also like to try my hand at growing garlic. Never tried it before. My son would also like to add this to his garden. Need advice on which ones are the strongest in flavor and easiest to grow. we are both in zone 5a. Will it be too cold here to grow. Would love to trade something for some garlic. let me know if there ia anyone interested in trading. growing advice is also helpful.

smokymist, morning....
I have hardneck garlic...
Metechi and Zemo varieties... These grow best in cold climates.... Plant in Oct. and harvest in July..

wanted..
Yellow Multiplier Onion
Latin Name: Allium cepa var. aggregatum

Reported Hardiness: Zones 5-8

Description: The widely grown Yellow Multiplier Onion is another onion in the “aggregatum” group that divides from a single bulb into multiple bulbs. Unlike shallots, yellow multiplier onions form several fairly large sized, though still asymmetrical, bulbs per clump. Many yellow multiplier bulbs will in fact be in the 2″ to 3″ range ..
Thanks, Dave
