| I have always grown, what my family refers to as, a "Salsa Garden." I grow the tomatoes, peppers, and cilantro to make salsa. I have never tried to grow my own onions but am considering it for this next year. I live in East Central Indiana and was wondering what local type would be best for salsa and---- the biggest question of all------ how do you grow onions? I see the onion sets at the nursery but all I know is that they will go in the ground. How do I do it and what will I expect as they grow? Thanks! |
