| Some years ago I grew and liked a Philippine garlic variety from Territorial Seed, named Palawa. It seems to have vanished from the face of the earth. I even tried contacting Territorial, who said they obtained their seed stock from a grower in the area who no longer grows it, and he obtained his start from an uncle. No word on the grower's uncle, but the trail is definitely cold. Does anyone out there remember this garlic ... please contact me if you have any idea where I should look (or if against all odds, you grow it yourself). Thanks! exop |
