Hail damage on my garlic

A hail storm came through last night and stripped the leaves off of my garlic. Will they put on new leaves or are they done? I had planted the garlic last Sept. and they were just starting to take off and get some height on them. Onions are flat also (tennis ball sized hail will do that) but I'm most concerned with my garlic.

I think they'll be fine. However, since you lost some foliage, the resulting bulbs may be smaller because less chlorophyll is available to each plant. Keep them fed through the season; that should help.

I agree that they will be fine but may be a little smaller.
One year we had goats get in our garlic in early spring and eat down the tops on most them. They came back fine but may have been a little smaller.

Just a funny story for the garliclady:We too like you grow alot of garlic but one year our goats got in the garlic and we were milking them.Boy was that milk bad.
