Hi,

Didn't have a lot of bulbs put in ....I think 5...and they did not survive the winter here in central wisconsin(it was a fairly mild winter with ok snow cover). That was two winters ago, but since then I have moved and did not get another chance to give them a go. I will be trying these again...I'm not one to give in to readily...but thought you might want the info.

I planted five of these fall 08. Spring 09 all five are up. I'd appreciate any other imput from nearby zones, thanks!

Our landscaping crew has been planting Shubertii for 5 years now in the fall. The only ones that don't survive are planted in bad soil (ie, too wet or heavy) The ones I planted in my own garden are on ther 3rd year now, doing just fine. I even had to dig up 2 to move them to a better place and they are also multiplying. They're really fun to see at the front of a perennial border. Look like little fireworks!!!
