Most of the snow has melted in my yard but about 1/4 of it is covered still. I went past my garden and noticed that my garlic is sprouting. We are going below zero at night (-5) or so. Will this be okay. It's my first time growing garlic. Should I cover them a bit until it warms up some more? Our first frost free date is usually mid-May. There is no green anywhere else in my yard.
