| Hello,
I have some urea 46-0-0. I want to know if anyone can tell me how much to add to how much water & how much to apply to feed garlic & onions. Thank you |

| I don't think that is water soluable if in solid form. If it is liquid forms I f in liquid form, I would use like 1/2 table poon per gallon. READ THELABEL! |

| cyrus_gardner The reason I ask is there are no directions on the container. I asked in the lawn forum & got knowledgeable responses. Just so you know it is very soluble in water. Thanks Ed |

| OK! Nitrogen should be used with caution. Too much of it will do more harm than good. Lets do a comparative math. 46% of what is in the bag is pure Nitrogen. I alway use fertilizers diluted to about 1/3 of the recommended and use it more frequently instead. cyrus |

| What cyrus said. You can always add more later, say in two or three weeks after you see what the first gentler application did. Fertilizer companies are trying to sell you MORE fertilizer for profit. Start slow, be cautious. Start fast, fry your plants. Urea is one of the "hottest" fertilizers. hortster |
