So - I couldnt get all of my garlic in last fall that I got from a local grower (Red Toch and German Red). I planted about 120 cloves. I had about 2 bulbs left and some random cloves that ended up being stored in the garage...easily subjected to some 10 to 20 below temps this winter in MN.

I went to go throw them out a couple weeks ago - assuming they had rotted etc... and at least half were starting to sprout. I couldn't believe it. I quickly found room for them any they are growing great.

Just any fyi for everyone that worries about storing garlic to cold for the winter.
