It should be up by now. Possibly it has rotted in the ground.

Did you try digging one up? They have been growing for a three weeks and I am north of you. So they should be going.

Sorry aout the disappointing results, but MY GARLIC is growing great guns and splitting their bottom leaves they are growing so fast. The earliest of the lot is amazingly big--some stalks are well over an inch in diameter and already showing the signs of decline that suggest they are in the final stretches.

Porcelains are huge, too, and the somewhat disappointing Music I grew last year when I was sick/injured and did not get out to water and feed as necessary are fulfilling the promise of their variety--they look more like corn than garlic right now and are also well over an inch in diameter.

Looks to be a good year with the nearly 100% "germination" rate I always get.

Sorry to hear about your garlic. It depends on the soil, and how deep you planted. I made sure my Garlic were covered and then just a bit deeper than that. They started sprouting in December after being planted in October. I bought mine from a farmers market. It was one that I could have eaten.

Remember, Garlic needs to go through a cold period to germinate, which is why you don't put them in the fridge.
