| At the end of April, on a whim, I planted a clove of softneck garlic that was left over from a bulb I bought from the grocery store. I planted it in a pot that is currently sitting on my window sill, due to not having available garden space. As plants tend to do, it sprouted, but now it doesn't seem to want to stand up. All of the leaves are still green, however. Is this normal behavior for softneck? |

| No, it should be upright. Garlic leaves look and feel like leaves from a bulb flower, tulips ect. Sorry. I plant garlic in the fall here and it is ready to harvest the following late spring/early summer. |
