Slow to Grow?

I'm growing alliums for the first time this summer. About two months ago, the first alliums popped through the soil, and recently a few more have joined them, but they don't seem to be growing. They seem to have stalled after breaking through the soil surface. Is this common with alliums? If not, is there anything I can do to help 'em along?

I was about to ask the same question. The Allium species germinate but remain very small and don't seem to kick on. Should I be feeding them with a soluble fertiliser and treat them like edible onions?
