Spring onions

Hi,

i placed some springonion seeds available at the garden nursery in apotting mix and it has sprouted well.The plants are clumped and look like fragile grass.do i allow them to grow in this 10inch pot or thin them into larger pots.Also do these plants prefer full/partial sun 0r shade? I have given a link to my snaps of the plants in the container.Please advice!

I'd seperate them and plant a few inches apart.
