Allium did not bloom are they salvagable

Hello,

I planter 3 Gladiator Allium in 2005 did fine in the spring of 2006 however this year very little foliage and no flowers eventually I dug them up to take a peek and found the outside all mushy the bulbs seem much smaller that when I planted 2 years ago. However , the bulb is still firm to feel just very white. are these salvagable? I did call BRECK's for a replacement no problem.

Any ideas what may have happened>> I have some small drimstick ones that seem to be doing fine?
