Pulling garlic early.

I want to do this the best way.

I am out of garlic and I have a garden full of it.

I have

1. Small pitiful garlic growing in planters.

2. Some excellent elephant garlic that has already produced scapes. No other plants have produced scapes yet.

3. Some average "garden variety" garlic.

4. Some really good looking regular garlic.

5. Some planted here and there among other plants... planted in a fit of whimsy.

All of that is expected to be ready in another three or four weeks. They have probably two yellow leaves each now.

If you had to pull ten plants just to get you through, which ones would you take out of the ground and use fresh? Do I cull the stragglers, or do I take the best now and let the rest develop?
