Garlic Chives just kind of stopped growing???

They still look quite healthy. I've had the same ones for 2 years now. I pick the weaker chives off every week or so like is recommended. They grew quick (about 4-5 weeks for full size/ready to harvest) before I cut them about an inch or so above the soil, used for cooking & let them grow again. Well, they came back up close to normal height & just stopped growing for the past 2-3 weeks. They don't seem as "full" as they normally are (haven't pruned off more than I usually do when they do get "full"). I don't know why. I haven't changed anything with their care since when I first started them from seed last Spring. Any ideas? Do they maybe need a little food? Or maybe should I cut them a bit lower and let them try again? Or maybe transplant into a new container (hesitant to do this option)? I'm not sure. :-\ Any & all help appreciated. ksrogers: If you're around this forum...what would you do?

Peace - Steve

Anyone?? =) I planted two more rows (one on each side) for now just in case something is off with the middle/current row.

New rows starting to come up, but no change in the middle/original row, as far as I can tell. :-\

They look kind of scraggly to be harvesting already, could be it's been hot lately and that's slowed them down.

Yea...very true. I think i'll move them to the shade! Great point. =)
