Missing shallots

Hi guys!

Any idea what would pull up immature shallots (an entire bed of them) and leave nothing but neat little holes where the sets were?

Sounds like somebody who was too crazy about them.(!!!), or did not want you to have them. I consider that just a theft.

Unfortunately, I agree. It was just too neat to be a critter. Oh, well. Guess I will be buying my shallots this year.

I had the same exact thing happen to me last year, and iam sure it was squirrels or chipmunks..only my "episode" happened about a week after I planted them..
