I'm a relatively new onion gardener and while I only use Wally World fare, I always love the results. This time, I employed some neighboorhood child labor to both plant and harvest them. Yesterday, my doorbell rang and two girls sadly informed me that someone had "Walked all over" the onion beds in my back yard.

After some inspection, I just laughed and said that it was time to harvest them! The morning was cool so me and the girls harvested three crates full that are on the porch to dry. I let them go ahead and eat one and they were surprised that they were so sweet! It was such a joy to watch them pop them out of the ground!

Hooray for onions!
