Hard to believe that I would be thinking about fall in the height of the gardening season, but I am going to be harvesting my garlic this afternoon and I started to think about what I'd like to plant this October. For the past two years I have planted Chesnok Red. I have had success, but I am looking for something that stores a little longer.

There are so many softneck varieties out there, I was hoping to get some variety suggestions from gardeners in my area or those that are familiar with the climate in my area.
