keeping 'em looking good

This is my first post here, but have enjoyed much of the great information available here, especially the allium forum. I am growing a mixture of hardnecks and softnecks, and all seem to be doing fine.
I pulled some really gigantic elephant garlic today, and was wondering if anyone had any tips for keeping them nice looking. A lot of them get split and have funky wrappers, but a lot of them are really beautiful, and I know they would like to look their best for the fair, which is still over amonth away. |
