Should I allow my Cippolini onions to flower or is it best to cut the flower off like I do with garlic scapes?
Thanks.
Cindy
Hi Cindy! No, don't let them flower unless you want to save seeds. Those that send up a flower stalk, use them up first, they don't store as well, not to mention they may have a green eye through the bulb.
Thanks Mark. Good to know.
Had to hunt for my post.
