My garlic (German White) has some type of rot. I noticed a couple of plants yellowing from the bottom up (it's too early for harvest here). I pulled them up and they have no roots. The bottom of the bulbs have a straw colored rot (and the largest bulb had split). There may be small black dots associated with the problem, or they may be dirt, I'm not sure. Any ideas?
