Planting Shallots August 1 ??? zone 3 (Northern Wisconsin)

I got a trade of shallots and am wondering if I planted them now if I could harvest them in Oct, assuming that these are the 90 day ones. We have no problem planting strawberrys in mid Nov. and they do well in this growing region. I haven't grown shallots before, so my question. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

i have the french grey shallot, I plant them at the same time as the garlic.

Thank you for your reply. Puzzled... ? survive the winter in zone 3. I understand that I might have to cover them with about 6 inches of straw and hope for the best. Anyone else growing shallots this far north? I would like to hear from you!
