some of my onions have started to develop mould on the sides of the immature bulbs, i think this may be white rot, but i am unsure. the strange thing is that the mould only appears on a few of the bulbs, and not all of them. will it spread to the other bulbs? i think the problem may be due to wind damage, with the horrible weather some of the less strong stalks have toppled over, and this may have affected the bulbs below. if anyone has had this problem or knows what to do i would be very grateful for some advice before its too late for my poor little onions!
