Allium bulgaricum aka Nectaroscordum sicilum ssp Bulgaricum

I've enjoyed these strangely beautiful flowers for several years. If I wanted to dig some up to share, when is the best time, or does it not matter too much? They've done flowering but haven't died back yet. I live in NH, zone 4/5. A follow up question: After digging up, what is best procedure? Simply replant or wait until after frost and meanwhile cure the bulbs?
Thanks so much.

When foliage dies down and bulb is dormant you can dig them up. I'd replant immediately and not bother about storing them.
