I purchased "heirloom hardneck garlic" bulbils on ebay a couple of years ago. They did not give a variety name as I recall, and I did not write down the information they gave about the variety, but the bulbils have produced a good amount of garlic in the second year. Is there a way to guess at what kind of garlic it is (besides hardneck -- it made scapes). Thank you for your ideas.

In the photo the variety in the foreground is Killarney Red and the unknown variety is in the back part of the bed. I don't seem to be able to put more than one picture. I have close up pictures of both varieties.
