seed source for short day onions?

Hi,

I am wanting to try growing my onions from seed this year and I have searched online and through gardenwatchdog and other sources to try and find a good source of seed for short day onions and I can only find one or two different varieties. I realize that there are more long day than short day varieties but I really can't find any short day that are not hybrids. I will plant them but I would prefer not to plant hybrids so I can save seed. Does anyone here know a good source of short day seed?

Baker's Creek has a few short day onions. i don't think they carry hybrids so you might want to check them out.

University of Hawaii also sells short day onion seeds but i'm not sure if they are OP or hybrid.

There are not many open pollinated short day onions. As mentioned by mauirose, Baker Creek has Red Creole and Grano 502. Several companies including Reimers have Crystal White Wax. There are several vendors including Dixondale that have plants of Southern Belle and Texas 1015Y.
