Last year I ordered my garlic again from a company I have come to trust. When it arrived I was horrified to find some of it looked eaten away, cracked etc. They promptly gave me a refund and I discarded that garlic. Feeling safe I planted the remainder. However with this years harvest, I found the same thing in about one third of the bulbs. I don't know how to include an image but the bulbs just looked chewed away at the bottom. Is this safe to eat if I dry the unaffected bulblets?
