Online sources of hardneck garlic?

| I've ordered from Seed Savers in the past. They are already sold out of several varieties.
Have you tried SS and know of another source with comparable quality and that might have more selection available right now?

| Well, I'm planting my first garlic this fall, but perhaps others here can comment on the possible suppliers I've found so far. I'm zone 5, so I've been trying to find suppliers around my latitude. And I may end up at the local farmer's market, per a fellow forum member's suggestion. Here are the suppliers I found: TastefulGarden.com GourmetGarlicGardens.com Filaree Farm The Garlic Store GardenCitySeeds.net Johnny's Seeds I hope you find what you're looking for! Cindy |

| The best I have found is Karen & Mike's Wisconsin Grown Garlic. You can buy by the bulb and select the size you want, and they are great people! Unfortunately they are also mostly sold out, but still have about 38 varieties available in their catalog: http://www.wegrowgarlic.com/catalog TomNJ |

I just placed an order with wegrowgarlic.com. I visited this forum hoping to find an online source that sold small quantities as I want to try some different varieties in my SFG. wegrowgarlic.com was just what I was looking for. Thank you! We still have seed, we are in zone 7 NC But I have a huge list on my favorites of garlic growers websites from about 20 states and canada. Remember alot of the bigger seed companies may be in your zone but they buy seed from growers all over the country and Canada. If you want local seed check localharvest.org or tell me where you live and I mioght know a garlic grower in your area |

| I just received a garlic sampler from a small farm in Washington... beautiful bulbs, fast delivery, and he was generous with his amounts (I ordered a pound, definitely got more than a pound). Seems like if you go to some of the smaller growers, they are happy to put together a sampler of several varieties, which is exactly what I wanted... with all the larger suppliers I looked at online, you have to buy at least a pound of each variety (and what am I going to do with that much garlic in my home garden?)! This is the guy I bought from --> |
Here is a link that might be useful: Bloosqualls Garlic Farm
RE: Online sources of hardneck garlic?

| The owner of Bloosqualls Farmr, Travis (aka Bloo), posts here all the time. He is a nice guy, hard worker, straight shooter, and very generous with his time helping others here. I'm sure you can't go wrong buying from him! TomNJ |

| I just got my garlic from Bloosqualls Farm in the mail today. Fast service, nice looking garlic and not stingy with the amount. I had already ordered it when I came across this post. Price can't be beat. |
