Where I live there is a loose alliance of organic growers who grow only a few things, and they work through a local (grassroots) distributor. The distributor works the farmers market, with signs that say which farm or grower supplied the produce. You may want to ask around at the farmers market to see if there is a similar organization in your area. Depending on where you live, a seasonal stand with an honor box might be worth considering, too. There is an interesting book on honor system marketing -- see link to interview with author below.

Your best bet for bulk sales might be other garlic growers. If you have been growing that much you must have some marketing knowledge/experience, eh?

One of the big truck farmers here sells to small alternative/organic markets year long (although he grows anything and everything and not much garlic). Our farmers market is also very picky (as is the county ag department) and difficult to get a space in the big market (Saturday.)

I agree with above.
Money is in selling your garlics as SEED for various growers.
You can do it by yourself(Internet site) and in alliance with a middle distributor/marketer.
This is the best time, prhaps, to shift into gear, selling seed garlics.
OR sell them as ORGANIC, if you grow them organically.

Otherwise, I can buy garlic from some grocery store for about $1.50 per lbs.

But one thing positive about garlics is that they have relatively long shelf life and you have a good window of time to sell them. This is unlike , say, tomatoes.
