How much garlic can a part-timer reasonably sell?

Over the past few years I have become increasingly obsessed with growing garlic. This year I invested in some new varieties of seed garlic to try. I will now have 15 cultivars (both hardneck and softneck) growing. I'm currently only farming about 1,500 square feet of garlic but would like to grow to a half acre or more over the next 2 or 3 years. I'm getting really comfortable with growing and curing the garlic, but have not really marketed it so far. Is it reasonable that a part-timer would be able to sell a few thousand pounds of garlic per season? I live in a small city and could also travel to larger cities or NYC on occasion to make bulk deliveries as well as selling online. The farmer's market here is WAY too demanding and competition for space is crazy, so I likely couldn't do that. I'm wondering how much garlic others are usually able to sell? I'd like to spend about 4 hours a week or 208 hours a year on marketing... not including long-distance deliveries.
