Cover crop? mammoth red clover?

Hi.

I harvested all my garlic (frist timer) very nice if i must say so myself.

My problem i was getting my soil ready for the fall planting and got a ideal to plant a cove crop so i did.

I planted mammoth red clover .

Will i be able to plant my garlic by the middle of oct.?

Did i mess up my garlic bed?

Just till it in a week before you are ready to plant your garlic. You likely won't get the full benifit of the clover but sounds like the garlic is your priority. I know it would be mine.
